Where 80's Metal Fans Connect

I recently went to see Korn at the MEN Arena in England. Walking through the Arena I got a few strange glances and I heard one kid comment on 'the old grandma'! Now at 39 years old Im not ready to be old, has anyone else had this happen to them and what age should we hang up our jeans & t-shirts and leave rocking for the young?!! Left to me I'll still be rocking at 90!! lol

Still rocking at 90... I like the sound of it, and that's what I'm going for. Fuck it, life's too short, I still wanna rock! Besides I like to think I still look pretty good in my jeans... ;-)
And what smart jeans they are too!! lol
Why thank you!
Pay no attention Darl . I'm 45 and get all sorts of smart remarks from kids at gigs, It don't faze me cos I saw bands they can only dream about, but I WAS THERE rockin when they were still shittin yellow and their musical experience consisted of Patsy biscoe singin I'm a little teapot. But most of the kids are ok and glad to see older people still enjoying themselves at gigs.

Were not old - were classics
Yes we are classics..... ROCK ON!
haha deadly Zodiac *thumbs up*
I remember being the "youngun " the first time I seen Aerosmith in '84. Now, I just went to a Maiden show this past month and there were tons of young kids there. They were very respectful of their elders,LOL. They were high-fiving and hugging us when the Irons came onto the stage, they were obviously thrilled to be there. I think it's the type of crowd that attends shows such as Korn that is disrespectful, not saying all their fans are like that, but alot of them probably don't care for us old folks or have no clue why we'd be there in the 1st place.
You're underestimating the extreme hardship and immense challenges of the upper middle-class suburban upbringing many of these Korn fans are going through. Many of them STILL don't have PlayStation3 or XBOX 360 and have to go over to their friends house in order to experience it. But all the other kids have it, I hate you mom!

Alert! The following may be upsetting to those with delicate constitutions, look away now!

I've heard, (although I have not seen it myself, here in the Princeton area of New Jersey) that some kids DON'T EVEN GET A NEW CAR when they graduate highschool. Not to mention how many of them have to take on a part time job, just to PAY THEIR OWN CAR INSURANCE!!! Shocking, I know... let's all take a moment and think about this. Looking at the substandard job performance of many of these individuals I choose not to blame, but to pity them as their apathy is most likely only superficial, and the core issue can be nothing other than the intense stress suffered at the hands of sadistic supervisors expecting them to complete tasks in order to receive pay... oh the humanity...

Note: this is NOT an insult to the younger generation, and is targeted at the entitled generation whether they be teenagers working at McDonalds or adults working for the division of motor vehicles, it's all the same. ;-)

This concludes my rant of the day, please continue with your regularly scheduled programming.
LOL... I hear ya, man. 100%. I was reading a post the other day about somebody quitting their job because the tech department was blocking Facebook at work. Wow.
lmfao!!! Thats pathetic!
