Which Dio guitarist did you like the best?

Viv Campbell (my favorite)
Craig Goldy
Rowan Robertson
Tracy G
Doug Aldrich (a close second, but I prefer the Viv material from a songwriting perspective)

Well this is a hard choise,they are all great but i gota say i like dougs sound better,I really loved his live version of man on the siver mountain, but honestly I must say they are all great

Definitely Vivian Campbell. I have seen all of these guitarist with Dio live in concert, but no one compared to Viv. He made very distinct & memorable guitar solos that sounded like no one else & ALWAYS nailed them perfectly live.

I think vivian is a good guitar player but not my favorite. I like doug aldrich, tracy g and craig goldie better . Vivian is wasting his time with def leppard though probably richer for it.

I was surprised that Viv threw in with Leppard and I genuinely liked Doug but Viv was better. Its a close run thing though.

My favourite guitarist in Dio is Vivian Campbell. I think dio´s best songs were written when Vivian was in the band. Vivian just played with his heart and that´s ll that it took for me.

No doubts Campbell...
I remember when Dio came to Argentina in 1996 with Tracy G...I couldn´t believe
what I´ve been hearing. He destroyed all the guitar lines written by Vivian....
