New Music Wednesday : Devoutcast

Found this band while poking around the internet this morning. Like the sound (kind of RATTis, if you ask me) but found very little information on them. I guess this is TRULY new music to alot of us. They hail from Aurora, Colorado (resident Colorado expert KISSMANIAC could probably back me here when I say Aurora is one of the more beautiful areas of our country) and are looking for some support, some publicity, and a record label. In short, Devoutcast is looking for a little love Angels....I say we give it to 'em.

Hey Robbo!

I'm not familiar with this band but I can tell you that your right about Aurora! Not as nice as Colorado Springs, but close!

Here's a pic of the view in Colorado Springs, including Pikes Peak...the mountain that inspired the song America the Beautiful! :

Colorado has a few good bands going today, these guys sound cool. Another very good Colorado band is Judged by 12. I saw them open for Lizzy Borden and they did an awesome job.

Of course one of the coolest bands from Colorado was Jag Panzer. Sadly they just recently disbanded.

Thanks for the plug man! It was awesome to run across this the other day! Good to know that we're gettin out a bit more. You can probably find more info if you wanted if you search by our old name, Wild Angelz. We just recently changed our name and got a new vocalist, so there's not much out there right now with the changes that we went through, since we dont have any recordings with the new vocalist and haven't done any shows as Devoutcast. Hey guys! Just wanted to update y'all on our status. We are currently in the studio working on a new EP that we should have out sometime within the next couple months. A release date isn't set quite yet. But, we do have one song done that I would like to share with you! It's called "The Running"!
