I have read it.....................like 10 times , i need to buy another book, nowwwww.

Great book , no doubt about it. You can laugh, you can cry (i actually did it in the Skylar chapter).
The whole story is great , how the met, how Nikki was so high, their childhood, their relationships, etc.
I love it.

I loved it and plan to read it again. I'm anxious to see the movie when it finally comes out , I'm hoping for an edgy indie-type of flick cause that storyline's too raw for anything else.

Motley Crue is blasting MTV as being “unhip” and making dirt of its planned movie “The Dirt”.

Now, Motley Crue says it wants MTV OUT of its “The Dirt” movie, days before the premiere of “Saints of Los Angeles”.

Reportedly, in 2006 the rockers signed a deal with MTV Films/Paramount to produce a film based upon their best-selling autobiography “The Dirt” . But now, in 2008, the band wants MTV gone.“We’re trying to get them (MTV) out of the way to make this movie that should have been made a long time ago,” says Nikki Sixx.

“MTV has become bogged down in its own way. It’s a channel that used to be hip and has now actually become unhip. We signed with them because we believed they were right, but they haven’t come to the table. We need to find the right partner. They are not the right partner.”

MTV wouldn’t comment.

Indie films are movies that are usually made by small studios with small budgets and they're not over-blown Hollywood flicks.It was also rumoured that Johnny Depp was being looked at to play Nikki, but I think he'd be a great Mick ! Ashton Kutcher was being considered for Tommy-I can totally see why ;-) I don't know how true all of that is, guess we'll have to wait and see.

So according to what you explain here, i think that Indie films would be better.
There must be a reason why Nikki thinks Mtv is not the right partner.

good book.

My favorite part was when Mick was at the beach and he thought he drowned. He goes back to the Crue house and everyone is crying because Razzle died, and he thought he was a ghost watching everyone cry for him! You can't make shit like that up.

Yeah, that part is great too i enjoyed it.

A good part too is when Vince and Tommy were not getting along and Vince says to him, "To stay true to rock´n´roll that´s what made him famous in the first place, but that´s Tommy if rock is in , he´s a rocker, if hip hop is in he´s Dr. dre., if he would be in the spice girls he would have fucking tits" or something like that.

And when an european girls asks Nikki if he ever thank god for making him so beautiful and he says" No i blame him for making my dick so small".
