i loved Van Halen AND David Lee Roth. i personally think all his solo songs could have been Van Halen songs too. found a VH interview with David in his prime.....

Hell yes, Dave has class. He was, is possibly the best front man EVER in rock & metal. I would pay the devil to have that bod. With MY hair, of course.

Diamond Dave made Van Halen. Most of his solo music was really great. Im glad he and Eddie seem to have worked it out and will tour again. cheers stick

I love Roth over Hagar in Van Halen......but his solo stuff.....was never that good. I wanted it to be....but it's just not.

Your right, it is all about opinions.....but I honestly don't think anyone would ever have bought this music if not for it being David Lee Roth. If it was made by some new group, it would have landed in the trash dumpster of rock n roll. I'm just a Gigilo??? Are you kidding me??? That song bites ass! Coming from someone who sang some of the best hard rock songs of all time?

Steve Vai is god. Love the Yankee Rose video. Here is shyboy which was also on the eat em and smile album. Couldn't find a decent video. This is the Vai Sheehan version which is incredible.
