Where 80's Metal Fans Connect

Twenty Nine years ago today, on September 21st 1982, W.A.S.P. played their first show at the Troubadour in Los Angeles.

On September 21st 2012 W.A.S.P. will begin the “30 Years of Thunder” anniversary Tour starting in the United Kingdom and continue Worldwide!!

This World Tour will be the biggest spectacle W.A.S.P. have ever created. The two hour show will consist of three parts. A one hour set contain songs from the first four albums. The second set will be a 25 minute shortened version of “The Crimson Idol” complete with the movie accompaniment. A third set will consist of material from the New Studio Album, older material and everything in between. This show will see multiple video screens, pyrotechnics, and elements from the early W.A.S.P. shows and Blackie’s moving microphone stand “Elvis”!

Great to hear about the tour just not happy that the Anniversary Show is starting in the United Kingdom. I know the money is better over there but the first show could have been in HOLLYWOOD where it all began then the  2nd and the rest of the tour could begin in the u.k. Oh well, Looking forward to it when ever it comes this way.

Will he do Animal (Fuck Like A Beast)?

I thought Blackie stated he would never play it again?

No big deal, it's not their best song anyways, but I'd be surprised if it makes the set

yeah he has said he will never play that song again

I like the song alot and like it or not it still is a big part of W.A.S.P's beggining.

Sure is Jason

WAIT!!!!!

I will be going to every show within a state radius of me ^-^

I haven't seen them since they toured with KISS in the 80's, so I am pretty stoked!

Roll on next Tuesday night in Dublin. Cannot wait!!!!

I still love the 80s hair f*ck everyone that says it was a bad fad. Blackie's hair wasn't the prettyiest hair but it was the darkest.

I would love to see WASP come to Moncton, NB, Canada.  One of my favourite bands from the 80s!!!!!!
