Cinderella for sure. I was hooked as soon as my brother (who had 'Nightsongs' on cassette) played me their debut album. The vocals were unique, the music was pure 80's...a style I was accustomed to & the image topped it off.
W.A.S.P. are an excellent band, but I found myself not staying interested in their material too long before I was swapping their albums for other acts.
Man...I love both bands, but I gotta go with Blackie and the boys. :]
I've always loved loud, theatrical rock like W.A.S.P.
Their lyrics speak to me in a way that few bands can, and their sound is like that of no-one else. I love Blackie's voice especially. :D And whenever they do cover tunes, they always do justice to the original song.
Neither is better than the other because it is all subjective. However, I personally like W.A.S.P better. Cinderella is a bit too glam for me while W.A.S.P is a bit darker and more raw. I just made this today as an ode to the song "Inside The Fire".It's one of my favorites by them.
Make No Mistake Blackie Lawless Is A Old Man "1970's Glam Hag","Too Tall"/Funny Built, "Corn-fed", Egotistical, Girlfriend/Wife, Looks Like A Former M.T.F.Tranny, Etc (I Know KISS!!), "Poseur-Weirdo"/SELF Imporant BIGSHOT, Who "Fucked Over",His Main-Songwriting Collaborator, Guitarist Chris Holmes!!
Almost as Pathetic as How Bad Ozzy and Sharon Did Guitarist Jake E. Lee, But Not Quite as Bad.
