i hate this one.both are my favitote bands.this week,it is poison.next week,motley crue.it is a hard choice.because poison got me into metal.i love both bands.i saw poison live like 20 times.i just saw motley for the first time this year.long story.but that is ok.i didnt see poison till 99.so i missed both bands in the glory days.i was young.couldnt get a ride or money saved up.by the time i was old enough to get a job and ride,it was like 94.so there you go.had the chance to see motley on the tour with megadeth and anthrax.but i had to work.but motley was a great experience.and poison still kicks ass.but i will be honest.poison started it all for me.so i will go with poison.now,live is a diffrent story.cant speak about the glory days.but when i saw motley for the first time,it was a hell of a show.and i was really surprised at mick.i know he has health issues.so i was kinda leary.but man,can he kick ass.i know he is pushing 60 and and has health issues.but he dont show it.he can wrap all these other sorry ass young guitar players around his little pinky.he dont play like a 60 year old.but i was really disappointed in vince.he missed half the words and his voice was weak.i thought he just might have had a bad night.but from what i read,he is like that at most of his shows.but i will give motley the edge anyway.mick,tommy,and nikki still kick ass.and love the tit cam.motley did put on a better show.but poison is not boring either.but motley is better.and as far as music,i will have to go with motley.thier music rocked harder.i just have to go with poison because if it wasnt for poison,then i might not have gotten into the crue.but that is this week.ask me next week,then it will swith back to motley.haha

Interesting comparison! I love Motley Crue and have seen them many times. I have only seen Poison once. One thing about the Crue is that during live performances Vince tends to forget,change, or leave out parts of the lyrics! Aside from that I'd say the Crue can blow Poison right of the stage! Nikki Sixx is an awesome performer, bass player and song writer, Mick Mars amazes me and I don't think the dude gets enough credit, and Tommy Lee is one of the best drummers I have ever seen or heard! When he had the cage that span him around and upside down over the audience and he never missed a beat while doing it it was just mind blowing....incredible talent.

Clear winner here is Motley Crue.

I have to agree KM. That was the best Crue show ever and Tommy is absolutely one of the best as are Mick and Nikki. I think you accept Vince being Vince, kind of like Manny in baseball. Personally I do not think Poison is anywhere The Crue's ballpark
