Why shouldn't atheists believe in ghosts?? I do !!!

well, I think that ghosts have nothing with any religion. Religions just well use chance to scare people.

But, we meet "energies" in everyday life.

I agree. Ghosts are manifested energy and have been around way before religion came into place.

Hello Everyone. I believe in God and Spirits, not just the ones you drink. From what I am told. Spirits are of people who were not ready to die yet in real life.  I know of people who died and were brought back to life and they saw things in the afterlife, so that says to me there is something else out there.  I also believe in life on other planets.

I'm open minded enough to think that ghosts could exist.  I have never seen one myself although I have had a few experiences that I could not explain.  I honestly do believe I have seen angels and my dad saw one.   There was no doubt at all in his mind about it either.   

 

I do not buy into the ghost hunter shows at all, I really think that's just TV.   I would love to get on one however and go to one of these place that is supposedly haunted, walk in and yell out "OK I don't believe in ghosts, so if your real now is your chance to prove you exist!"  Just to see what would happen!  

 

I do not think there is a way to contact the other side, or for them to contact us.  I have lost many people very dear to me and I have never heard or seen a thing from them, if there were a way I am sure I would of heard from my parents by now, but I never have.

 

I try to never put anyone down for their beliefs in the paranormal, political stance, or religion.  Those are all personal things and no one has the right to judge others on any of those subjects.

I didn't know Atheists didn't believe in ghosts.....is there supposed to be some sort of tie in with ghosts and religion?   I believe in God, ghosts, heaven and hell.  And father OZZY of course!!

Yes I agree, ghosts have nothing to do with religion. They are the energy of people who hang around for whatever reason, or loved ones who want to let us know they are still around us.

I just found it funny that this woman said that there was a heaven and hell, but no ghosts.

I worked as a nanny in London, and was touched twice by the ghosts of children. And what I believe is my Mum regularly moves or hides stuff in my house.

She saw many ghosts in her life, and was the 7th child of the 7th child. And yes I believe in all that too. She was psychic. And I was told a few weeks ago that if you have things moved in your house you are a bit psychic too :-)

People involved in religion cannot accept what cannot be explained by their rules and tend immediately to think that something evil is there to harm them. But strange things happen, and a lot of people can see or perceive them. It's not exactly evil all the time. I don't want to think in all those who were killed by zealous religion defenders through fire or some other methods... will the atheists go to extremes to deny what cannot be explained?
