Germany is Heavy Metal Heaven even for '80's bands whether they be well known or obscure.

Being in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany from '98-'01 expanded my knowledge of Heavy Metal bands. I discovered obscure '80s American bands who were more popular in Europe like Manilla Road, Agent Steel, etc. Being in Europe was like being in a Heavy Metal University.

Thanks for sharing your story.
Music makes more of a difference in peoples lives than movies, books or anything else, and people like yourself help to enspire us all to continue what we have enjoyed all these years.
Rather it is an escape or just an outlet of our on inmoratlity, Music will always be our: Defender of the Faith.
In my case: Faith is Music

Rock music has been in my blood since I was very young...
As a quiet kid raised by my working mother and babysat by my grandma after mom got divorced from my abusive alcoholic father and taking care of me and my baby brother, the only outlet was listening to bands like Judas Priest, KISS, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Led Zep, Styx, Rush...
The music took me to a different world, a place where I could escape and live and forget my bad days...
I am so grateful for the sounds that molded who I am now. By the time the 80's came around, I was a heavy metal puke and no one could take that away from me...
ROCK AND ROLL RULES...!!!
