My favorite NWOBHM band by far. Biff has a far better voice than Halford, IMHO. Halford screams. Biff sings with both power and beauty. Saxon Rules!!!

awesome band seen em 21 times now, and very underated, prob thanks to the british media in the mid to late 80s. But theres no better media then yourselfs check em out.

Princess of the Night.....one of the best metal beats ever..simple and classic. Truly a pioneer for 80's metal.

me and my mates used to listen to 'wheels of steel' and sing 'we got meeeeeals meals on wheels'! haha. love motorhead. thats how i got my nickname, animal! sitting on the floor headbanging to ace of spades my mate said i looked like animal off the muppets! saw the 'ace up your sleeve' tour and was deaf for a week! loudest indoor concert 127 decibels. good times:)

saw them a couple of times. liked them at the time but haven't listened to them for years. sorry but when i saw 'this is spinal tap' and found it was based on saxon i kind of saw where they were coming from :) glad you like diamond head :)
