Eileen, I agree. Highway to Hell was/is not only their best, but one of the true seminal CDs in rock history.

Once read that they were just about broke and ready to perhaps regroup, but the got Bonn away from his partying and drinking pals, got down and did some serious work, and the result was Highway to Hell. Sounds like it could be close to the truth, even if it is folklore.

mmmm, my favorite album of AC/DC, Stiff Upper Lip, was the album that I met brian's voice in his pure form, I love that album. In second place is Back in black or Black ice, I dont now, Ballbreaker, Highway to hell and others are realy awesome.

Again this is really hard to nail.. HOWEVER

If You Want Blood.. is by far my favourite album EVER by anyone.

Back In Black remains one of my all time favourite albums as well as it came out when i was 16 and they were the first band I ever saw on that very tour.

Honourable mentions also to Powerage and Highway to Hell... that run of four albums has to be one of the strongest ever by any band
