Alice Cooper ain't dead yet!!!!!!!!
When I went to get the new album the guy at FYE asked if I needed any help as soon as I walked through the door. I said "yep, Along Came A Spider" he goes to the BACK of the store and hands me this movie. I was like "no, Alice Cooper" he says "oh, you needed to be more specific" then he goes around to the next isle, and he's thumbing through the old cd's and I was like "no, it's a new cd" The dude says to me "yeah, but it's not like it would be right up front or anything, Alice Cooper isn't that popular, his day is gone"!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow, man. I couldn't believe it!

that's what I said!!!! I would figure a person working in a music store would , for one, know when new stuff comes out, and two, not be so rude when it comes to one of the icons that made it what it is today!!!

Beleive it!..I was in a music shop back in about 2002/3 looking for Brutal Planet, the sales attendent (a young kid, barely out of nappies) asks if I needed any help, and I said "yeah, I'm looking for Brutal Planet", he goes "What??!", I go "Alice Cooper's latest CD", he goes "Who??!!" and then after rolling my eyes in disgust I tell him not to worry I'll find it myself....and I did, took me all of 2 min's too....talk about stupid

Our FYE ordered just two copies for the release date. The first one sold the very release day and the second shortly thereafter. I could NOT believe they didn't order more than two considering it was promoted on MySpace and on TV! What is the deal with these stores???? It appears when our fave artists from our fave genre release a new album, these stores who are supposed to carry the albums figure since this artist isn't one of the new cookie cutter bands, not many folks are going to come in the store to buy it. We fans are still around, so these companies need to quit assuming we're not going to buy it. There's more than one way to get around this, though. If these stores aren't going to carry it, then I'll give my business to Amazon.com. If Amazon doesn't have it, you pretty much can't get it!

i worked on alice coopers concert in wellington, new zealand this year, and let me tell you, out of KISS, and Ozzy, he was by FAR the best, he actuyally had fun, did some theatre with it, well coreographed etc. i had such a ball working on that show!!!! super girl roadie! and it was my favourite show i have ever worked on!!
