I was BIG into Triumph for years, still love 'em, also always liked Our Lady Peace, Rush (of course), Loverboy, Harem Scarem, and even though I'm from Jersey, I'm in a Canadian band out of Saskatoon, Rockarma! Check it out if you haven't already:

April wine play around where I live quite often..been listening to them since I was very very young..great band.
Tragically Hip are pretty good as well.

been a fan of rush since i was 14 :) am now 44:( saw em on r 30 and snakes and arrows(took my 11 year old to see em! were damn god!

What about the band 'Toronto' - are they hard rock enough? They had some big talent! Holly Woods' voice is/was AMAZING! Too bad they weren't known for more than "Girls Night Out" (not their best song).

And the Headpins!!! They had a ton of great songs too!!!

Rush and Triumph i knew were from the Great white north, But one of my favorite bands i didn't know.. The Killer Drawfs.. Stand tall awesome...

I am kinda glad for the pat downs. After hearing what happened on the greyhound, I would'nt go to much concerts when I know the crowd would get wild. There are too many sick people in the world.
