I gotta go Vivian....Dio hit a peak when he was playing wit Viv. Just wish Def Leppard would use the mans talent properly!
Backed! Talk about underutilisation...
Vivian Campbell was the best with Dio! It's sad he's gone with the Leppardettes...
when ifirst heard vivian campbell play,i was blown away...he's the best
Saw almost every DIO incarnation thru the years Viv is light years ahead Rowan was really good to but it was the first year i saw them with wireless and the feedback was a lil rough sweet will is right about Def not using him correctly he is a star in his own right.
VV Campbell
you know i think that my 1st pick would be tracy g hes a heavy playing guitarist and i really liked the edge he brought to the group especially with such underrated albums like angry machines and strange highways my 2nd pick would be Vivian i just really like his playing and 3rd on my list is rowan robertson just because he was so young when he came into the group and he was an amazing guitar playing i like craig goldys playing but his playing reallly isn't unique in my opinion just another player he was good though
Vivian Campbell was brilliant. But I think Craig Goldy is nowadays better. Best man who could be in Dio nowadays
