YAY!!! I'm glad y'all found someone new, well actually 2, you'll have a spare! LOL Anyway I am glad things are coming 'back' together for you and keep us posted so me and Darrell can come see y'all again!!! God bless!!!!

We have decided on Justin Brown, a veteran of the University of Alabama frat party scene, and Bill Ashburner, a Muscle Shoals native who has been in Chicago playing blues for years and recently returned to Bama. We have high hopes for Hammer State, and are glad to have them aboard!

we played our first gig on March 30 at the Bottletree, and we did really well. We were one of 6 acts in a new band showcase. The club recorded it with their in-house static camera, and our friend Clark recorded it on his hand-held HD camera. We are currently cutting these up with still shots to make a really good video. Right now, we have some pulled from the Bottletree's camera, "Leaving Here", a Who song, then "Nutbush City Limits" (Ike & Tina Turner), and Buddy Holly's "Rave On."
