Where 80's Metal Fans Connect

I'm lucky enough to be from the EastEnd Of London so I saw Maiden play the local pubs long before they became known to the world.I never saw them at the Cart & Horses, where they played their 1st gig but did see them at the Plough & Harrow & the famous Ruskin Arms & was hooked from the off. They just got better & better over the years but I didn't like the Blaze period but now Bruce & Adrian are back they are back to form.Oh yea I'm a West Ham fan as well,so I have alot in common with the band.

1982 when I heard "Invaders" 1st song on Number of the Beast

IN 1983, I WAS TRAVELING WITH MY HIGH SCHOOL SKI TEAM TO UTAH FOR SOME SNOW SKIING, AT THIS POINT AND TIME THE ONLY BAND I LISTENED TO SINCE 1975 WAS KISS!!!

THE KID SITTING NEXT TO ME HAD IRON MAIDEN NUMBER OF THE BEAST IN HIS BOOM BOX, I ASKED HIM

WHAT HE WAS LISTENING TO, HE WENT ON AND ON ABOUT IRON MAIDEN, HOW GREAT THEY ARE, EXPLAINED TO ME ABOUT EDDIE, I SOON BOUGHT NUMBER OF THE BEAST, AND REALLY LIKED IT...

I HAVE SINCE SEEN MAIDEN LIVE ON THE WORLD SLAVERY TOUR, LONG BEACH ARENA, YES THE TAPING OF LIVE AFTER DEATH, I WASN'T TOO FAR FROM THE GUY IN THE EDDIE MASK, I SAW THEM ON SOMEWHERE IN TIME TOUR, ALSO AT LONG BEACH ARENA, AND I WAS ON THE CREW FOR THE BRAVE NEW WORLD TOUR...

ONE OF THE BEST METAL BANDS IN THE BUSINESS!!!

Since 1984. I saw the "Piece of Mind" cover and was hooked when I listened! UP THE IRONS!\m/
