If my comment about "latecomers" to the Keel fan base offended anyone, I sincerely apologize. I've taken A LOT of flack over the years because I never stopped listening to them.

He did go country as "Ronnie Lee Keel" briefly, also more of a southern rock thing with Iron Horse I believe... gotta give the guy credit, he's versatile... ;-)

Personally I like the classic metal stuff.

saw them support dio in leeds
back in 1986
good band and did a great version of because the night
i thought ron keel had gone country ?
