Where 80's Metal Fans Connect

The 2012 KISS EXPO INDY was this past Saturday. Eric and Tommy were on hand to sign autographs and take pictures with the fans. Except for the standing in line nearly * hours to see them it really was a fun day. There were several vendors there selling stuff old and new as well as KISS Karaoke ( which I got to sing "Hard Luck Woman", and that was really cool to do). Tommy & Eric then did a Q&A  for about 45 minutes, and Eric was presented with a Birthday Cake. Eric also talked about the new book coming out later. They then got back to signing stuff and pictures. Tommy and Eric spent over 10 hours with the fans with no fan left behind. All in all it was a really cool day.

The cover for KISS MONSTER Book, it is suppose to actually be that big.One of the pictures to be inside the book, Eric said they will fold out to be that big.

I meant to say we stood in line nearly 8 hours to get to see them.

Wish I could of been there Phil!  Looks like a great time, thanks for sharing!

Was there any mention of when the new album comes out?

All they kept saying about the new album is how it is going to blow us away that it's awesome and Gene & Paul have the final say. Eric said  probably after the tour with Motley Crue so that they can have a full blown tour to support Monster after it comes out. Also he said they will be touring from now for the Next 2 years.

It would be cool if they play a new song on the tour with the Crue.  I bought a VIP seat (no meet and greet but a nice package) and I know I'll have a great time, Just hoping for something a little different from KISS and not the same set I  heard the last two times I saw them.

I agree a new song or two would be really cool. There are a lot of songs I'd love to hear live. Tommy said many times him and Eric have suggested to do "I" and "The Oath", he said Gene just says "Nah the fans don't want to hear them". Tommy said there are a ton of songs the fans want to hear, but Gene just passes over them and eventually Paul agrees with Gene. I love my Demon to death, but anymore I don't think he knows what the fans want. He just doesn't want to relearn any of the old stuff that isn't  their more known songs.
