Where 80's Metal Fans Connect

This is my all-time favorite album of his, mostly because it's the one I first heard when I was getting into all this music back in the mid-80s. I still think it's killer from start to finish, and "Shot in the Dark," "Lightning Strikes Again" and "Killer of Giants" are some of my all-time favorite songs from the era.

I saw Ozzy several months back and was disappointed to learn (from Wikipedia) that he won't play anything off that album because he's apparently embarrassed of it -- supposedly thinks it's "hair metal" and wants to distance himself from it. Bummer for me, I love that album.

Anyone else out there care for it?

Ultimate Sin was a great album, Killer of Giants man thats da bomb. One of my favorite songs to play on my radio show on wickedspinsradio.org
''THE ULTIMATE SIN'' is and will always be my favorite OZZY album.#1 The Album Cover is Classic OZZY#2 The Music is all outstanding from beginning to end #3 The Lyric's are straight OZZY being OZZY..hair band OR not all the bands back in the 80's were all commercial BON JOVI ,RATT & EVEN JUDAS PRIEST had TURBO .They all ROCKED HARD..SO ULTIMATE SIN is the ULTIMATE ALBUM
The Ultimate Sin has to be my favorite Ozzy album! it was 1985 when i had discover Heavy Metal Music thanks to Ronnie James Dio and i remenber this album so well. every single song in the album was killer. im not a huge ozzy fan but this album brings me the best of memoies. BEST OZZY ALBUM FOR ME.
oh absolutely, the Ultimate Sin album really rocks and i don't know if you've noticed but in the girls hair on the cover it looks like a face of a wolf,i don't know i thought it was cool.
One of the best albums. It really shows off what a supreme talent Jake E. Lee was on the guitar. He was definitely an innovator, shame it doesn't get more attention. But if I remember right I think Shot in the Dark was Ozz's highest charting single.
What An Ass! You Gotta figure OZZY has DONE A LOT of DRUG'S!!

As MUCH as HE WANTED, Unchecked,

at Least since 1981

So His "BRAIN" May NOT Be All You as a Fan Hopes It Is!?,

If that Makes Any Sense!?

I Too Have ALWAYS LOVED Ozzy & Jake's "Ultimate Sin", and perhaps This Is Why He Does Not Revisit Those Cuts,!?

Because that "Truly" was JAKE's album. Ozzy was AWAY Doing Something in England, or a Movie Filming appearance, in 1985, and as the Demos from '83, '84 & '85 were Turning into full fledged Songs,

he Left EVERYTHING Up to Guitarist Jake E. Lee to "Figure it Out", All the Material for the next "Ozzy" Record in France I Believe I.E;, Assemble a "Band", and Basically Record the album and later Ozzy added his Vocal parts in England as Ozzy and producer Ron Nevison Edited, and Re-Arranged Some parts Slghtly, to "Fit" Ozzy's Vocals later in England.

Some Songs Were very well Rehearsed Such as "Killer of Giants" which Ironically began making its way into Ozzy Rehearsal Sessions as Early as 1983, and, Word at the time, 1983, was that Ozzy's Next Studio album would Even be Called

"Killer of Giants", so Ozzy saying The Material Is "Hair Metal" Is An Egotistical IDIOT!

The TRUE Reason Is Probably because The Truth Is He & Sharon Somehow Convinced Jake to "SELL" His Percentage of the Song ROYALTIES for both Ozzy's "Bark at The Moon and Ultimate Sin albums Sometime in the Late '80's, just around the Time his "Badlands" Band Was NOT Doing as WELL as Expected!?!!? and

He Probably Remembers All this when they Start to play "Shot in the Dark" or another "Ultimate Sin" Song, and

FEELs Like A Piece Of Shit, Cause

Word on the Street is that Jake Is out of Money and LIVING in Someones GARAGE Here in

L.A's San Fernando Valley These Days, and Jake Deserves Better.

The Technical Brillance Guitar & Drum-Wise on the "Ultimate Sin" Is UNBELIEVEABLE!

Jake E. Lee & Drummer Randy Castillo, R.I.P.,

Are So "Locked In" or "In The Pocket" Musician Playing,

Songs like "Never", "Secret Loser", "Thank God for the Bomb", "Ultimate Sin" & "Killer of Giants" are

Metal & Guitar Masterpieces, All Jealously and Politics Aside!!
the best albumn he ever put out''
