Greatest band ever. I saw them around 5 times with C. Jay but not with Dee Dee. I did get to see Dee Dee with the Chinese Dragons in the 90's. Holy crap! Dee Dee chose to go shirtless and show off his appendix scar. Not to mention he was supporting the Billy Idol white spiked hair. He looked ridiculous and sounded awful. Anyways, I choose to remember all of the Ramones in a different light. They will always remain one the the greats.

Joey was an awkward cartoon of a human being, but was a god when he hit the stage. Johnny was the rubber-wristed guitar playing dictator asshole, Dee Dee was the heroin addict who would even suck a cock for a fix, and Tommy had to quit the group before losing his mind. They are THE definition of punk and I love them all, even CJ and Richie.

Saw them twice - opening for the Kinks in the 80's and for Pearl Jam in the 90's. They were great both times. I did a presentation on the Ramones in my uppity paralegal computer class and made the whole class listen to Warthog. It was pretty funny watching 30 people cringe...heh heh heh!

Hey all, big Ramones fan, I was only able to see them once...But in that one show I was actually able to meet Joey!!!!! What an expierience!!! That was my very first pit too....loved it hung over and all!
