I fell in love with whitesnake the first day I listened to 'em. That was way back in my school days. I think was in the 9th standard then. I like Coverdale's voice and I like the playing styles of all of Marsden, John Sykes, Steve Vai and Adrian Vandenberg.

Their music makes me long to fall in love with someone.
I won't say in love with the band... But my memory serves me well when in i went to th beach in corpus christi Tx and when i heard the dj say this is the new and improved whitesnake with their for sure hit single STILL OF THE NIGHT! Blew my fukn mind and what better place to be than the beach, girls in their bikinis, big hair, what more can a guy ask for?
I fell in love with them the minute I heard"Here I go again". David Coverdale has such an amazing voice and he is so addicting! I cant wait til he starts touring the US next year. I would love to see Whitesnake in concert. Their music leaves me with such a good energy. Its hard to explain.
WHEN MY BOYFRIEND STARTED TO SING TO ME IS THIS LOVE
i first heard whitesnake when i was 4years old the song was my only soul, i was hooked since then coverdale has a great voice i love it, also i hate when people say hes a bob plant clone he is not not at all , i feel very strongly about coverdale and whitesnake hes a great writer to me , the songs are out of this world a true artist keeps creating he does this with every whitesnake album that comes out new players add another flavour to his writeing and his voice is truely great, it feeds my soul with the delcate sound of rock, the is only one david coverdale and whitesnake until im old and knackered ile have my ipod or what ever it will be at the time full blast as they drop the dirt on me.
It's great to read about when people first got into the Snakes,it seems I go back a little further than some.I've been a David Coverdale fan since his Purple days & first saw Whitesnake at Hammersmith Odeon London in 1978 on the back of the Snakebite EP & went straight out & bought the Trouble album & have been in love with them ever since.I was in the audience on both the live albums which were Live in the Heart of the City released in 1980 & I was in the audience on Live at Donington 1983 & again on the Live in the Still of the Night DVD 2006.I'm quiet proud of that.I've lost count how many times I've seen them live & will continue to do so because they are the greatest band on the planet & it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up every time DC comes on stage & Say's those immortal words ERE'S A SONG FOR YA.
Wow! Lucky you! You've seen lots of WS's shows! It must have been marvelous to attend those shows in the late 70's!
When did I fall in love with Whitesnake? Well , it was in 1996 when I listened to FOOL FOR YOUR LOVING in a radio programme ( at the time when radio stations in my country didn´t play 80's hard rock very often) I remember it was like David Coverdale´s voice captivated me, I had never heard a more charming voice in a singer before. Needless to say , he became my favourite singer, and he will be that forever I guess. ( so no one can say that I love Whitesnke because of DC's looks! -lol!) Whitesnake 's songs and DC's voice convey the feelings portrayed in the songs much better that other artists do, I think. For instance, his versions of SOLDIER OF FORTUNE, may even make me cry and I am a person who practically never cries . DC´s music gives me, depending on the song, reassurance, peace or strength . I 'm a fan of the band so I like songs from all periods ( even from the earliest years when the music DC wrote was very different from the song that catapulted him to worldwide fame in the late 80´s. My favourite songs are all of them, but If I had to name some I´d pick GAMBLER, LOVE MAN, TOO MANY TEARS... I got really down when he decided to call it a day in 1997 but I'm immensely happy DC went back to touring and recording years ago . Although Doug Aldrich and Reb Beach are great, I´d like Adrian Vandenberg to join the band again because he is my favourite WS guitarist.
I first saw Whitesnake in 1978.I was a Deep Purple fan so that was the main reason for going see them & they blew me away.I went out & bought the 1st album,Trouble.I have everything they have ever released& seen them about 30 times. They make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up & in my opinoin,David Coverdale has the greatest voice on the planet.
I fell in love with Whitesnake when I was about 13 or 14, which was 25 years ago. I saw the video for "Here I Go Again" & instantly fell in love with David Coverdale, what a man!!! & to this day I still look at him at young & tender age of 58 & he still does it for me, there is no other man on this planet apart from my wonderful husband that makes me go all gooey & I get excited every time I look at him. I have got pictures everywhere of David. I have seen them live 5 times, his voice is just amazing it sends shivers down my spine, certain songs make me smile every time I hear them, even thought I have heard the 100's of times before.
I am obsessed with David & Whitesnake & cant wait for there new album.
Cold, snowy winter night.I had been waiting for a taxi.,,Don,t brake my heart again,, was playing in the car, wich had come.I felt lonely and had melancholic mood, but the words-,,I,m gonna take it to the limit,of my love, before i,ll turn and walk away,,made me feel stronger.I founded a lot of power in broken heart.Snow is white...like the name of the band.
Whitesnake is devoted with something reach, clean, professional.

Whitesnake songs are as close to making love as it gets!

David Coverdale is just icing on the cake! His lyrics are so about my life! Love him!!!
