Sorry for the long absence. I'm sick and I was... oh, what was I doing? I was working, but now work has sorta levelled off, and Pixie's gone back to school. I have no excuses not to catch up.

I feel kind of old -- I was alive when that "Sympathy For The Devil" cover was released on the Interview With The Vampire soundtrack. I was born 44 days after Kurt Cobain's suicide. Me and Pixie went to a sightseeing place and they classed my ticket as 'adult' and hers as a 'child'. Hit in the ego for her, hit in the wallet for me.
By the time Chinese Democracy came out, everybody was waiting for something huge. Spectacular, larger than life. I'm kind of glad it was released before I got into Gunners, and that I heard it after Appetite. It's weird, how two bands with the same name and singer can turn out such different animals of a record.
