And to think that I've always thought that I had a weird name. lol Seriously though... I hope you wrote down my e-mail address. Which brings me to why I'm writing you like this...

I would like to be your friend and get to know you better, but...(there's always a "but" isn't there? lol)...

I don't stop by MFA very often but I still like to make new friends. So, I figured that you could either write to me directly, or leave me messages on MySpace or Facebook (that is if you're a member, or don't mind becoming one to keep in touch). Y'see...Otherwise, I might not get your messages here for a long time. I also recommend that you check out my MySpace page anyway... www.myspace.com/hondomurray ...because there's a lot more information, pictures and examples of my artwork there than I have on my MFA page.

Obviously, it's up to you, but I hope you will take the time to check me out before you dismiss me. I mean you've heard the old saying... "You shouldn't judge a book by it's cover" right? Well, I think that people are way too quick to judge each other and I think that's one of the biggest problems in this world. I mean, I've known some beautiful women who turned out to be really ugly on the inside once you got to know them (although some of them just had to open their mouths) and then there are the women (people) who have an inner beauty that makes them really attractive, but the trick is...You have to be willing to take the time to get to know them to see it. I'm willing to do that with you...and I hope you will do the same with me. I've always believed that strangers are merely friends that we haven't met yet (although some people are better left alone....Don't worry though...I'm not one of those kind). Think about it this way....You and I wouldn't even be here if our parents hadn't chose to take the time to get to know each other better.

Don't get me wrong though.... I don't want this to sound like I'm desperate for your friendship...I just think it would be cool to make another friend. It's always nice to have more friends...especially with the way the world's been going. Besides...I have lots of friends, but few close friends...who knows...Maybe you'll end up being one of my close friends. You never know until you take the time to find out.

Anyway, whatever you decide to do...
