Tuesday, its my day off and its a beautiful day ipod edition.

Posted on October 13, 2009 at 2:50am 0 Comments

1. Seagull - Joe Bonamassa. A beautiful version of the Bad Company song by one of the best blues guitarists to emerge in the last few years, highly recommended.

2. Emerald (live) - Thin Lizzy. My all time favourite Lizzy song and this version is taken from The Live And Dangerous album.

3. Last Look At Eden - Europe. The title track of what could be the years best album, simply brilliant.

4. Modern Day Cowboy - Tesla. The best track of what was one of the most… Continue

1. Over The Hills And Far Away - Gary Moore. Gary Moore has to be the most overlooked guitarist of the 80's.

2. Quadrant 4 - Billy Cobham. Yes a track from a jazz album, but it features Tommy Bolin and inspired David Coverdale to recommend him to replace Ritchie Blackmore in Deep Purple.

3. Angelwitch - Angelwitch. A classic NWOBHM track

4. Theme From Harry's Game - Clannad. A haunting track from this Irish folk band.

5. Heartbreaker - Pat Benatar. A… Continue

1. Hideaway - John Mayall And The Bluesbreakers. Every home should have a copy of this legendary album.

2. The Prophet's Song - Queen. The best track of A Night At The Opera.

3. Hotel California - The Eagles. Country rock at its best.

4. Games Without Frontiers - Peter Gabriel. Just a great track.

5. Rime Of The Ancient Mariner - Iron Maiden. The ultimate Iron Maiden song, EPIC!!

Welcome back to the Admins edition!

1. Running White Faced City Boy - Gillan. One of the earliest songs that got me into metal.

2. Witch In Wedlock - Blue Horses. A fun track that mixes rock with a bit of folk.

3. Burn On The Flame - Sweet. A song that shows the heavier side of a great band.

4. This Girl - Slade. From the film Slade In Flame.

5. Pretzel Logic - Steely Dan. A great band that combined rock, pop and jazz.

Juke Box Hero - Foreigner. Aor at it's best.

Antmusic - Adam And The Ants. A great track from the early 80's.

Damn Right I've Got The Blues - Buddy Guy. One of the all time great blues players.

Locomotive Breath - Jethro Tull. I'm not a great fan of Prog Rock but this is a great example of the genre.

On The Boards - Taste. The band in which the late great Rory Gallagher made his name.
