After reading the 2 threads started y'day about vince neil's D.U.I. It got me to thinking....

I'm a huge Crue fan. I've been told I musta been born loveing the crue cause I'm sick with it.They are very talented men.

Meeting Judas Priest

Robbo's thread about Judas Priest got me to thinking about when I met the band. It was in June of 1984 and I met them at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. A friend of mine was living in Detroit at the time and he won tickets and passes from radio station WLLZ. We drove to Detroit from Colorado and it was quite a trip! We had so much fun! Iron Maiden

Got home about an hour ago from a MIND BLOWING Iron Maiden concert! It was such a beautiful night in Denver!

The opening act was Dream Theater, they came on early at 7pm (the ticket said the show started at 7:30) and they were excellent. One thing I really thought was cool about their set was the drums. The dude had three bass drums! Mike is an excellent drummer, the band was really good!

So i just reacently came across this site and I have to say I'm glad I did! I'm a huge freak of the hair/glam bands of the 80's and I'm glad bands like Dirty Penny are bringing it back. That's what real music is about. Not just the hair bands but metal over all. the good time,loud, in your face, attitude. Not what they call music these days.
