I know we're in a constant

state of looking for things that rock (new and old) so I have to tell you I'm really digging the song The Pot off of the new(er) TOOL album 10,000 Days. It's really a good groove (something missing in today's music methinks) and even though I don't get over excited about political rock I'm able to put the lyrics aside for the great guitar, bass, and singing. Good stuff. Another song I've slammed into the 'ol MP3 player is Run, Run, Away by Slade. This was always a good one, but the version I downloaded the other night has a great intro. If it's old, I haven't heard it. It gives you a great beat and a little rousing guitar. For some reason when I hear this song I picture a bunch of drunken Scottish folks dancing around a bar in kilts. I only like to picture that every so often, but the song is still really, really good.
