It's just people's taste differ. No big thing. Keep listening to them if you like them. You like what you like. Just be yourself. That's what matters. You gotta friend that doesn't like them just crank it when they aren't around.

I like them...my daughter cant stand them...I think they write good songs, the music is good...dont know why people have a problem with them. I wouldn't call all their stuff "top 40". Alot of groups have mellow songs as well as great metal and good grind, but we still listen to them....

Oh oh another negative post....like I never posted any, right.......Can't freakin stand them!!! How's that? They bore the shit out me and the band has no balls....they call them selves a rock band.......ah....NO. This is a BIG problems with a lot of bands over the past decade plus, is getting better in the last year or so....they put one or two or maybe even more radio hits out there but they look like a bunch of stiffs, poor stage presence and lack rock n roll grit if ya will! I class these guys with that emo crap and most of the radio crap out there. They actually annoy me like nails on a chaulk board!!!

how can you say that Nickelback is in the same catagory as emo? I get that you dont like them and thats fine...I have never seen them in concert so I dont know about stage presence...I'll take your word for it, and I think bands need to do more than just stand there and sing, or yes, it's a bit boring. But come on, they are not even close to emo, total different kind of crap, and emo is right there at the bottom of the shit pile for me.

Well , i certainly started something here didn"t i !

For the record , i"ve only got the 1st and 2nd album , yeah , some of it is repetetive...but i think they are a pretty damn good band .

one thing i will say though.......Chad = HERO ( the song , not him...) errrr, NO !

I think they are a really good band. But then I have only been listening to rock and roll for 33 years and have seen over 300 concerts...so what do I know?

According to the way I have been blasted and attacked by some people for giving my opinions lately apparently I don't know much.

I LIKE THEM ALOT, I ESPECIALLY LIKE THE SONG IF EVERYONE CARED. WHEN YOU SEE THE VIDEO,ITS NOT ABOUT ANYTHING YOU WOULD HAVE THOUGHT, IT'S ACYUALLY HISTORY, MAJOR EVENTS THAT HAPPENED WHEN THE PEOPLE HERE ON THIS PAGE WERE IN THEIR TEENS, MAYBE YOUNGER, MAYBE JUST A BIT OLDER. HOWEVER ALL THE WRONGS WERE RIGHTED DURING OUR LIFETIME. PUTTING ALL THAT TO A SONG IS COOL. TRUST ME I BOUGHT A DOSC SET OF LIVE AIDFOR MY GRANDSON AT CHRISTMAS, AND MY REAL AGE STATED TO SINK IN.
