Trib Bands: Better To Look Alike or Sound Alike??

I am the manager of a Bon Scott AC/DC Tribute Band, and I have a choice: a singer that bares an uncanny resemblance to Bon, but can't sing well, or a guy that doesn't look much like Bon (a little old, a little heavy) but sounds unnaturally like him! WHAT DO I DO ???
Help me out, angels! You are a great sounding board! Consultants would charge me THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS for the expertise you offer out of love!
OUR FATE HANGS IN THE BALANCE!!!! no pressure.

i often go and see 'Kisstroyer' KISS tribute band and i gotta say that the "gene' guy sounds soooo much like gene simmons its scary.....and the rest of the band are great too...even though they dont really look like them....they have a great fan base and in my opinion are definetly the next best thing to seeing KISS.....if it wasnt for their voices sounding so much like gene and pauls i would not have been so interested in seeing them again; ▶ Reply to This
