I thought Wrong Turn was ok. I am a BIG movie fan, especially horror. Loving this time of the season because there's real good stuff on tv.
Carrie, Maximum Overdrive, Pet Semetary, Amityville Horror, Poltergeist, the Entity, Dawn Of the Dead (original) Joy Ride,

I could list tons more lol...

Sorry to turn the clocks back even further, but these movies scared the living shit out of me when I was little (all from the 70's methinks):

Race with the Devil (Peter Fonda)
Duel (one of Steven Spielberg's first movies with Dennis Weaver)
Jaws (Speilberg again)
Deliverance (Burt Reynolds)
Demon Seed (Julie Christie)

When i saw the classic horrors, i was children... On video tapes, black and white tv and darkness... My parents was sleep, and i saw the films... I remember the my fear... uuuh...
werewolf
the fog
zombies stories
nightmare's
Friday 13th
halloween
But now, i smile it's films...

oh yeah, i rented the video of the exorcist when it was banned! had read the book, but watched the video with my mum, and we were both scared to go upstairs to go to bed :(
