Trash by Alice was a great album and probably my favorite album of 1989. I saw ALice's Trash the World Tour in Tampa Stadium and it was the last concert I went to as a civilian. Every fucking song on that album is great. One night at a club I dedicated "This Maniac's in Love with You" to a co-worker named Kathy. I had a crush on her and she had HUGE tits. Anyway she thought I was 'sweet' and i eventually nailed her, on my birthday too. Thanks Alice!!!

I think Desmond Child had a lot to do with Trash's success. He is a great songwriter who has also worked for KISS and other bands. Joan Jett also cowrote House of Fire. Alice said in an interview that every word, comma, and note of Trash was very meticulous and they worked very hard on that album.

Dr. Feelgood, to me, along with Girls, Girls, Girls has WAAAAAY too much filler. One or two good songs and a lot of forgettable stuff.

"I'm your Gun" from Trash blows away anything on Dr. Feelgood

as much as i love Trash (Poison is one of my favourite tracks), i think i have to pick Dr Feelgood. every track on that album is absolutely brilliant...whereas i think a few on Trash are just 'ok'...

Yeah, "Trash" is just ok.........
But "DR. FEELGOOD", come on ...........none can beat "Kickstart my heart" and "Dr. feelgood" not even comparison for me.
Actually "Don´t go away mad (just go away)" is one of the best songs. The only song i think is kind of filler is Time for change, the rest is great............ i danced "Without you" at my wedding and my girl loves it.
MOTLEY CRUE easily won.

It was and still is the greatest album in rock history, in my opinion. i picked it up anout 5 years ago and havent put it down since. Alice Fucking rules :)
