Join Mama's Fallen Angels
Monday: Lyrical Challenge
We give you a small snippet of the lyrics (or a small audio clip) from three 80s metal tunes, and the first Angel to guess all three wins the adoration of all the other Angels.
Tuesday: Which Song Rocked Harder?
We bring out two songs from the past that rock, and the community makes the difficult decision about which one rocks the most.
Wednesday: New Music Wednesday
The old music is great, but newer, younger bands are keeping the metal flame burning. We look at a new one each week.
Thursday: Album of the Week
We now live in a culture of singles and .mp3s, but we still remember the days when you had to buy an entire album. Every Thursday, we bring out an album from the past that plays well from top to bottom.
Friday: Let's Rediscover or Video of the Week
On Fridays, we do one of two things. We either do "Let's Rediscover," when we look back at a band that was great but didn't get as much credit as it deserved, or we do "Video of the Week." We've got over 1,700 metal videos on our site, straight from the old days of Headbanger's Ball (by way of YouTube), and we bring out a classic to share with the other Angels.
